🏛️ PREAMBLE:
We, the Moorish American People, do hereby establish and affirm this Federal Ecclesiastical Government Charter under God and by divine right, as set forth by Prophet Noble Drew Ali, Chief Magistrate, and preserved through Trust No. 10105905, recorded in Cook County, Illinois, on August 1, 1928, Book 521, Page 579.
This Charter affirms the Moorish Science Temple of America as a lawful, ecclesiastical, religious-governmental body, exercising jurisdiction as a consular authority under the Treaty of Peace and Friendship (1787/1836) and secured by Article VI of the United States Constitution.
📘 ARTICLE I — NAME AND STRUCTURE
- This government shall be known as the Moorish Science Temple of America.
- It is organized as a Federal Ecclesiastical Trust: Trust No. 10105905.
- It was established by Prophet Noble Drew Ali and continues in perpetuity.
- All authority flows from the Divine Law, Natural Law, and the Charter of 1928.
